Policy on the processing of personal data · Version of 9 August 2026

This is an informational translation. The Russian-language version prevails in case of any discrepancy. The operator is a resident of the Russian Federation and this document is governed by the law of the Russian Federation.

1. General information

Website: https://friggirise.ru (hereinafter — the Website) — an independent informational and reference fan project dedicated to the game Viking Rise.

Operator: a self-employed citizen of the Russian Federation (payer of the professional income tax). The operator's full details are provided on request, as well as upon conclusion of a contract (when a paid subscription is purchased). Contact for enquiries: friggirise@yandex.ru.

This Policy has been developed in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On Personal Data".

2. What data is processed

The reference materials can be read after creating a free account; interactive tools and the paid builder require signing in. The following data is processed:

email — stored only as an irreversible hash (SHA-256); the email in clear form is not kept on the Website's servers. It is used to sign in and to link a paid subscription;
password — stored only as a cryptographic hash (PBKDF2); the Website never stores passwords in clear form and cannot recover them;
subscription data — the tier and validity dates; device/session identifiers and a browser fingerprint (as a hash) — to limit the sharing of a single account;
access codes — for entry to the paid features;
messages you send to the developer via the feedback form — the message text, linked to your account by a hash; your email and IP address are not transmitted or stored together with them;
cookies and localStorage — to save settings, the access token and user loadouts on the visitor's device;
IP address — temporarily, by server-side functions, to protect against automated data collection and abuse; it is not placed into long-term storage.

3. Purposes of processing

authenticating the account and giving access to the knowledge base and tools;
providing and renewing the paid subscription;
ensuring security and protection against abuse and account sharing;
handling your enquiries to the developer;
saving user settings on the device.

4. Legal grounds

Processing is carried out on the basis of the user's consent and for the performance of the contract concluded with the user when a paid subscription is purchased, as well as to ensure the operability and security of the Website (Art. 6 of 152-FZ).

5. Payment for the subscription

The paid subscription is accepted through independent payment services — DonationAlerts (for international payments) and ЮKassa (within the Russian Federation). These services act as independent operators and process the payer's payment data under their own privacy policies. The Website does not receive or store bank card details.

From DonationAlerts the Website receives only the information needed to activate access: the donation amount and currency, the public donor name, and the access code that the user places in the donation message. The user's email is never placed in the public donation message.

6. Storage and transfer

The Operator's databases with personal data are located within the territory of the Russian Federation (Yandex Cloud). The Operator does not carry out cross-border transfer of personal data; payment data is processed by the payment services directly with the payer. The Operator does not transfer data to other third parties, except in cases provided for by law.

7. Protective measures

The Operator takes the necessary legal, organisational and technical measures (Art. 18.1, 19 of 152-FZ): minimisation of the scope of data; email and password are stored only as hashes; bank card details are not stored; access to the server side is restricted; data is transferred over the secure HTTPS protocol.

8. Retention periods

account data — while the account exists; it is deleted at the user's request (account deletion is available in the personal cabinet);
feedback messages — up to 90 days, after which they are deleted;
IP address — not stored long-term; used transiently for anti-abuse.

9. Cookies

The Website uses cookies and localStorage for authorisation, saving settings and ensuring security. The user may disable cookies in their browser settings; in this case some functions may become unavailable.

10. User rights

The user has the right to obtain information about the processing of their data, to demand its clarification or deletion, and to withdraw consent. An account can be deleted independently in the personal cabinet. Enquiries should be sent to friggirise@yandex.ru and are considered within the time limits established by law.

11. Changes

The Operator has the right to amend this Policy. The current version is always available on this page.
