How it works: a squad has two commanders — each with their own mount. Click any slot and pick a skill: TOP 1 take first · TOP 2 a good option · TOP 3 acceptable, swap when you can.
✕ — that skill is already on the other mount. Some skills do not work when placed on both at once: the builder marks the duplicate but leaves the choice to you.

How do I pick mount skills in Viking Rise?
Choose your troop type and profile (F2P, mid or rally/vanguard), then click a slot under a mount — a list opens, sorted by priority TOP-1/2/3. Keep the top ones, swap the lower ones.
Which stats should I raise on mounts?
It depends on the troop type and playstyle. Pikemen: defense on both mounts on any profile. Everyone else: rally and vanguard — both on defense, mid players and spenders — 50/50, F2P — both on attack. The builder shows the split once you pick a type and a profile.
How many skill slots does a mount have?
Two. Each slot has its own pool of skills and its own priority — the builder keeps them apart.
Why can I not put the same skill on both mounts?
Some skills do not stack in a pair: put such a skill on both mounts and the second one simply will not fire — the slot is wasted. The builder marks those skills, and a duplicate is highlighted with a red cross.
